The public SoundCloud page dates the Features playlist to November 28, 2017. In the August 2026 archive snapshot it contains seven tracks with a total runtime of 22 minutes, 13 seconds.
What it proves
It proves that the SONOFPOLLUX name was already attached to a music collaboration network before the current distributed catalog. It also gives the archive a dated public object from the period rather than relying entirely on creator memory.
The Museum does not treat the playlist as a complete record of 2017. Deleted tracks, renamed accounts and missing uploads may leave gaps. It is preserved as evidence of what still survives.
Why it matters now
Later SONOFPOLLUX work often uses archives, rooms and identity fragments as fiction. This playlist matters for a different reason: it is an actual surviving archive from the earlier internet period. The distinction is useful. One is public history; the other is narrative architecture.
