SONOFPOLLUX MUSEUM // STREAMING CATALOG

THE STREAMING
ROOM IS OPEN.

Spotify anchors the current distributed catalog. The Museum tracks the public monthly-listener signal without pretending the platform exposes every private or creator-only metric.

One number we can defend

The public Spotify artist page exposes a monthly-listener count. That number changes constantly, so this page treats it as a current audience signal rather than a permanent archive milestone.

The Museum does not display a fake “total Spotify streams” number. The public developer surface does not provide an artist-wide total stream counter, and the site will not reverse-engineer creator-only analytics just to fill a card.

The release record lives elsewhere

For dates, formats, credits and era context, use the SONOFPOLLUX Discography and individual release dossiers. Spotify is the listening surface; the Museum remains the evidence and discovery layer around it.

Failure-safe refresh

Catalog Pulse checks the public artist page on a long server cache. If the markup changes or the request fails, the page preserves the last good value or an explicitly labeled fallback snapshot. It never turns an outage into “0 listeners.”
