The official archive uses February 26, 2025 as the earliest currently recovered milestone in the modern distributed catalog. Qobuz metadata also helps separate public roles: Braiden Rice appears in composer/lyric credit context while SONOFPOLLUX is the artist identity.

Not the origin

v6.9 corrected an easy historical mistake: a distributed release date is not the same thing as the start of the project. The creator dates the SONOFPOLLUX SoundCloud music journey to 2016, with independently recoverable public artifacts surviving from 2017 onward.

Why it has its own dossier

This release is useful as a boundary marker. Before it, the archive depends more heavily on old platform pages and recovered fragments. From here forward, public catalog chronology becomes much easier to follow release by release.
