CREATOR ARCHIVE // ORIGIN RECORD // RESEARCHED 18 AUG 2026

THE INTERNET CAME FIRST.

SONOFPOLLUX did not appear fully formed in 2025. The surviving public trail reaches back through abandoned YouTube experiments, a creator-dated 2016 SoundCloud beginning, early collaborations, producer pages and handles that changed before Pollux became the narrator people recognize now.

PUBLIC RECORD

What can be independently recovered

Platform pages, indexed descriptions, public counters, dated playlists, catalog metadata and surviving channel pages.

CREATOR-IDENTIFIED

What Braiden identifies as his earlier work

Abandoned accounts can outlive their context. The archive marks creator-supplied ownership separately when the platform itself no longer exposes a clear link.

UNRESOLVED

What the internet no longer proves cleanly

Missing channels, changed handles and deleted uploads stay visible as gaps. The archive does not convert a remembered username into a verified fact.

CREATOR-IDENTIFIED LEGACY

Before music: learning the internet in public.

Braiden identifies myhappylittlebanana, TheTratedGamR and captinbboy2010 as abandoned early YouTube identities. Two remain publicly discoverable today. Search-index snapshots show myhappylittlebanana at roughly 335 subscribers and TheTratedGamR at roughly 2.48K subscribers; one surviving TheTratedGamR parody is indexed around 37K views.

The archive could not independently recover a confident public match for captinbboy2010 during the August 2026 research pass, so that node remains creator-identified rather than platform-verified.

CREATOR-DATED ORIGIN

The music project starts on SoundCloud.

Braiden dates the SONOFPOLLUX music journey to 2016 on the soundcloud.com/sonofpollux account. The current search index does not expose a surviving exact “first upload” date, but the profile still contains tracks indexed as roughly nine years old and a 2017 playlist preserving that early collaboration era.

PUBLIC SOUNDCLOUD RECORD

Features freezes the first collaboration network.

The surviving SoundCloud playlist is dated 28 November 2017, runs 22:13, and contains seven tracks. Its track list preserves names including NICKG, Pathoz, OGG, TrippyDoes and the older RICERAPS naming inside the SONOFPOLLUX account.

PUBLIC SOUNDCLOUD RECORD

“1650” breaks through the old archive.

The surviving SoundCloud track page shows roughly 53.6K plays. More importantly for identity continuity, its description links the SONOFPOLLUX SoundCloud, the historical instagram.com/sonofpollux/ URL and the same SONOFPOLLUX YouTube channel lineage used today.

PUBLIC SOUNDCLOUD RECORD

1650 becomes an eight-track SoundCloud album.

The public album page is dated 27 April 2018, lists eight tracks and runs 19:23. That makes the pre-streaming-catalog era larger than a single viral-ish track: there was already an album-shaped SONOFPOLLUX project.

PUBLIC PLATFORM TRAIL

The underground catalog keeps moving.

SoundCloud still indexes additional tracks from 2018–2019, including one collaboration at roughly 6.1K plays, “Heaven” at roughly 1.2K plays, and “Dead Now” at roughly 786 plays in the August 2026 snapshot. A surviving 2019 YouTube upload also links the same SoundCloud and historical Instagram identity while advertising a planned 2019 album.

PUBLIC PROFILE

BeatStars still exposes the bridge to Braiden Rice.

A surviving BeatStars profile is publicly titled Braiden Rice, uses the SONOFPOLLUX profile path and lists ten music products/tracks. It is one of the clearest surviving pages where the human name and project name sit together outside the modern lore site.

DISTRIBUTED CATALOG ERA

The current release archive begins.

The existing Creator Archive's first dated distributed-catalog milestone is SONOFPOLLUX ?!. From here, public Apple/Qobuz/Shazam/Muso metadata makes the division between Braiden, SONOFPOLLUX and later Pollux much easier to trace.

IDENTITY CONSOLIDATION

The scattered handles become one world.

SoundCloud history, streaming releases, public credits, the current YouTube channel, @realsonofpollux, the Creator Archive, Room Atlas and Pollux lore begin resolving into one deliberately connected identity rather than separate internet experiments.

PUBLIC STATS SNAPSHOT

Numbers the old internet still remembers.

These are public/search-index values observed during the 18 August 2026 research pass. They are evidence, not permanent claims: counters can change, platforms can round values, and search indexes can lag.

SoundCloud profile: ~1,223 followers.

“1650”: ~53.6K SoundCloud plays.

Early collaboration: “Under Ground Sinners” ~6.1K plays in the surviving Features playlist.

2019 archive: “Heaven” ~1.2K plays; “Dead Now” ~786 plays.

BeatStars: 10 public products/tracks on the Braiden Rice / SONOFPOLLUX profile.

Current @sonofpollux YouTube: ~479 subscribers and 147 videos in the August 2026 search snapshot; the same channel index still surfaces 2018 creator footage.

TheTratedGamR: ~2.48K subscribers in the search index; one surviving upload ~37K views.

myhappylittlebanana: ~335 subscribers in the search index.

@realsonofpollux: ~23K followers and 281 posts in the indexed Instagram snapshot.

@braidenrice: public creator profile remains indexed separately from the project account.

IDENTITY CONTINUITY

Why the archive treats this as one journey.

No single old page proves the entire story. The continuity comes from several independent pieces lining up: the SONOFPOLLUX SoundCloud name; a 2018 track description linking the YouTube channel lineage and historical Instagram; the current @sonofpollux channel still surfacing 2018 creator footage; BeatStars naming Braiden Rice on the SONOFPOLLUX profile path; and modern public credit databases repeatedly naming Braiden Rice in composition/lyric roles beside SONOFPOLLUX as artist/executive producer.

That makes the current Pollux era easier to read correctly. The digital narrator is new in form, but the habit underneath it—building identities, channels, worlds, edits and releases on the internet—predates the current AI-assisted workflow by years.

MISSING NODES

The archive keeps the gaps.

captinbboy2010: creator-identified, but no confident surviving public match was recovered in this research pass.

Exact 2016 first upload: creator-dated to 2016; the surviving index supports a 2016–2017 beginning but does not currently expose a definitive first-track timestamp.

Historical @sonofpollux Instagram: old SoundCloud copy proves that URL was promoted in 2018. The handle now resolves to a private profile and is therefore not treated as a current official SONOFPOLLUX account.

If an old export, screenshot, upload email, channel dashboard or archived URL surfaces later, the record can become more precise without rewriting what is currently known.
