WHO DOES WHAT?
The mythology is intentionally blurry. The metadata is not. This page uses public credit records to separate the human author, artist identity, character and software/tooling where the public record actually identifies them.
The public artist/production identity carrying the releases.
Frequently represented as a credited featured artist while functioning inside the universe as narrator/witness.
Some public credits explicitly identify software such as SUNO in production/mastering roles rather than hiding the toolchain.

Metadata cannot explain the entire creative process.
Credits tell us who is listed for specific roles. They do not tell us which draft came first, how much was rewritten, what was performed manually, or the exact sequence of human/software decisions for every release.
